Inspiración: Calcetines con tacones / Socks with high heels

Confieso que no me gustan mucho mis piernas y me encantaría tener piernas delgadas con tobillitos, pero eso no impide que me vista como si las tuviera. Me encantan los calcetines con tacones y esa es mi inspiración de la semana. Me gustan con calcetines cortos pq parecen botines, medianos, porque mis calcetines más lindos son medianos y largos porque es mucho más elegante.

Una niña me dijo "no entiendo los tacones con calcetines" y yo respondo a eso con "a mí sí y los mis calcetines tienen orejas".

I confess one of the main things I dislike about my body are my legs. I'd love to have thin long legs with slim ankles, but not having them doesn't stop me from mixing something like socks and high heels. I love ankle socks because the make heels look like booties, medium because most of my pretty socks are medium length and long because they are just fancy.

One girl said to me once "I don't get the whole heels with socks thing" and my answer is "I do and my socks have ears"

 one/two/three/four/five

It's friday, yay! I'm so happy(: I made lots of cupcakes, some to sell at Celoffán and some to take to my sister's birthday party tonight. But before I go I wanted to share a little wishlist of things I found this past week. Hope you like these pretty things, I really do! I want them all <3

Es viernes, ¡yey! Estoy muy feliz. Hoy hornee muchos cupcakes, algunos para vender en Celoffán y otros para llevar hoy en la noche a la fiesta de cumpleaños de mi hermana. Pero antes de irme les quiero compartir ésta "lista de deseos" de cosas lindas que encontré en la semana. Espero les gusten, a mi me encantan y las quiero todas <3

Everytime I look through old photographs, in books or magazines or when I see a period movie I try to guess what time they are set in, by the clothes, shoes and hairstyles. That's how I began making little drawings in my notebook of the same girl dressed through different eras (very Orlando), and I thought it would be fun to make a timeline made of shoes. I focused on shoes with heels, even though there are many iconic shoes that show off decade's style. I hope you enjoy it! (:

La línea del tiempo de zapatos

Siempre que veo fotografías viejas en revistas, libros o alguna película de época, intento adivinar de qué época es usando como pistas, la ropa, los zapatos y los peinados. Así fue como empecé a hacer pequeños dibujos en mis cuadernos de una misma niña vestida diferente a través de las eras (muy a la Orlando), y se me ocurrió que sería divertido hacer una linea del tiempo hecha con zapatos. Me concentré en zapatos de tacón aunque hay mucho que no tienen y son muy icónincos del estilo de cada década. Espero que les guste! (:
