Tutorial: broche de cierres

Lo que vas a necesitar:

* Tijeras
* hilo y aguja
* 4 cierres de metal de distintos colores
* un pedacito de fieltro (no está en la foto)

 1 & 2.- Cut 4 strips of zipper, one of each color. Cut each one a little longer than the one before, so you have 4 different sizes, as shown in step 2.
3 & 4.- Now, take the shortest strip and make little folds so you can shape it. It should look kind of like a drop.
5, 6 & 7.-Take the second strip and sew it around the first one, making little folds so you can shape it, too.
8.- Do the same with rest of the strips and in the end you should have something similar to what it is shown in the picture.
9.- This is the way it looks from behind. (;
9.- Así es como se ve por la parte de atrás (;

10.- This is what we´ve got so far.
10.- Esto es lo que tenemos hasta ahora.
11.- Take you hair clip and cut a little piece of felt in the shape of your zipper piece.
12.- Make a little cut with the tip of your scissors and  get your hair clip through the little hole.
13.- You can glue the hair clip to the felt if you want to secure it even more ( I didn't do it). To continue, sew your piece of felt to the zipper piece. (I used the blanket stitch, but you can use any stitch you like) Make sure that the stitches don't show on the other side.
14.- Your hair brooch is done!
14.- ¡Tu broche para el pelo esta listo!
15 & 16.- If you want to make a pin brooch, all you have to do (after sewing the piece of felt to the zipper piece) is to sew a pin bar brooch to the felt and then cut a little piece of felt to cover the bar, and stitch it up(;
15 y 16.- Si quieres hacer un broche de pin, toma un pin de barra y coselo al fieltro que previamente cosiste a la pieza. Después, corta un rectángulo de fieltro y coselo para cubrir la barra, ¡Y listo!(;

Zipper hair clip/pin brooch. Done!
Broche de cierres (de dos formas). ¡Listo!

 I really like the way this brooch turned out, hope you like it too!

Have an awesome friday(:
