My first bag

Mi primera bolsa

I've been meaning to make a bag for a long long time, and I've been wanting to restyle this dress that I thrifted for a while now. So last week I decided to finally  use the pretty fabric of the dress to make a pretty bag(:

Hace mucho tiempo que quería hacer una bolsa, y he querido reusar de alguna manera este vestido que compré en un bazar desde hace también mucho tiempo. Así que la semana pasada decidí por fin usar la linda tela del vestido para hacer una bolsa(:

I used this awesome tutorial to make the bag, although I change it a bit to make it work for me. The first time I saw this tutorial I knew I wanted to use it to make my first bag.

Usé este maravilloso tutorial para hacer la bolsa, aunque lo cambié un poco para hacerlo funcionar para mi. Desde la primera vez que vi este tutorial supe que lo quería usar para hacer mi primera bolsa.

When my pajama pants turned into a shirt

Cuando mis pantalones de pijama se convirtieron en una blusa

I once had really pretty pajama pants. I really loved my pajama pants, Sandra gave them to me for my birthday a few years ago ( I cant remember how many :s). But then one day I found a big hole on them, and I did't have the heart to throw them out:p  So I just put them away in the back of my closet... Until last weekend, when I was cleaning my closet and I found my ripped pajama pants. I really liked the fabric so I t pajama pants, Sandra gave them to me for my birthday a few years ago ( I cant remember how many :s). But then one day I found a big hole on them, but I did't have the heart to throw them out:p So I just put them away in the back of my closet... Until last weekend, when I was cleaning my closet and I found my ripped pajama pants. I really liked the fabric so I thought I could reuse it to make something. So I made this shirt(:

Una vez tuve unos pantalones de pijama muy bonitos. En verdad me gustaban mis pantalones de pijama, Sandra me los dió en un cumpleaños hace algún tiempo ( no puedo recordar cuanto exactamente:s) Pero entonces una día encontré un hoyo grande en ellos, y no tuve corazón para tirarlos:p Así que los guarde en el fondo de mi closet... Hasta el fin de semana pasado, cuando los encontré mientras limpiaba un poco mi closet. En verdad me gusta mucho la tela, así que pensé que podía reutilizarla para hacer algo. Y entonces hice esta camiseta(:

Now I can wear my old favorite pajamas at day : p (ha!)

Ahora puedo usar mi vieja pijama favorita en el día : p (ja...)

A simple dress

A little while ago I bought a dress from a thrift shop and I wanted to restyle it for a long time, and finally on december I did it! It's a simple dress but I really like it. So this is kind of an outfit post I guess. We were near Mérida and we stop to eat at a beautiful hacienda and I thought it would be a nice place to shoot some photos of the dress.

Hace poco me compré un vestido de una tienda de segunda mano y pensé en arreglarlo (¿cómo traduces restyle ? :s) durante mucho tiempo y finalmente en diciembre lo hice(; Es un vestido sencillo, pero me gustó mucho como quedó. Así que esta es una especie de "outfit post", supongo. 

Estábamos cerca de Mérida y nos paramos a comer en una hermosa hacienda y pensé que sería un buen lugar para tomar algunas fotos del vestido(:
