Una semana de inspiración- Día 4: Hallazgos para un viaje.

¡Hola! Esta semana vamos a tener un post diferente cada día sobre las cosas que nos inspiran o que nos gustan y pueden inspirar a quien pase por nuestro blog :3 

Hey! This week is inspiration week, we'll be posting everyday something that inspires us or that we like and think may inspire you :3 

Una de mis actividades favoritas en la vida ( y por suerte parte de mi trabajo) es ir a bazares a en busca de cosas hermosas. 

Me inspira mucho ir y hacer ese recorrido cada semana, he encontrado cosas realmente útiles y algunas ridiculeses que me hacen feliz.

Cuando pensé en escribir este post, sólo les iba a enseñar algunas de las cosas que había encontrado y ya, pero luego pensé que todo podía girar en torno a algo que me ha inspirado en estas últimas semana: un viaje.

Estoy planeando un viaje a Hungría y otras partes de europa para el próximo año, así que cuando vi esta maleta de flores supe que era el destino :p Y luego me puse a armar estos atuendos pensando en los lugares en donde los podría usar. Me emociona pensar que hago la maleta para el viaje y empaco la ropa y los objetos que voy a usar en otros lugares del mundo.

One of my favorite things in life (and luckily some of my work) is to go to bazaars and thrift shops in search of beautiful clothes or things.

I've been going every week for the past year or so and I enjoy it every time. I've found some really useful things and some other silly things that make me happy.

When I thought about writing this post, I was just going to show you some of the things I had found, but then I thought that I could do it based on something that has inspired me in recent weeks: my journey.

I am planning a trip to Hungary and other parts of Europe for next year, so when I saw this suitcase I immediately knew it was meant to be ( ha) : p And then I started to put together these outfits thinking of all the places where I could wear them.

 La maleta me salió súper barata y está en perfectas condiciones. (¡además tiene rueditas! :3)

 Este sería mi atuendo para Budapest, me imagino viajando en tren o algo así no se por qué :p
This is what I would wear in Budapest, I imagine myself on a train or something, I don't know why :p

1.- Este es uno de los hallazgos de la semana pasada, me gustan mucho las rayas y los colores.
This is one of the things I found last week. I love the stripes and the colors.
2.- un trapo que tenía mi hermana por ahí.
Some scarf I borrowed from my sister.
3.- Una camiseta gris que compré también en un bazar.
A simple and soft grey t shirt that I also found in a second hand place.
4.- leggins de Zara kids
5.- Collar tejido que hice la semana pasada. (para aprender a hacer la puntada de cocodrilo :)

 Obviamente esto lo usaría en Paris. ¿Cliché o qué?

1.-Esta camiseta también es un hallazgo de bazar.
This was also one of last weeks finds.
2.- Este es uno de los cuellitos Mila Gali de nuestra nueva colección (:

3.- Esta falda me la regaló mi tía que vive en España. Tiene plumas muy a los años 20's.
My ant from Spain gave me this skirt. It has feathers. (:
4.- Estos zapatos son vintage pero estaban nuevos porque son de un lote.
This are never worn vintage shoes.

Este es es el atuendo que usaría un día en Madrid. Me gusta mucho mezclar patrones y creo estos dos se llevan bastante bien.
This I would wear in Madrid. I like to mix patterns and think those two work together pretty well.

Bueno, pues espero que les haya gustado mi post, la verdad es que me divertí mucho haciéndolo e imaginándome cosas :p Espero los haya inspirado un poco. Tal vez a probar nuevos looks, a ir en busca de "oros" a los bazares de su ciudad o a planear un viaje (aunque sea su mente).
Well, I hope you liked my post, the truth is that I had fun doing it and imagining things : p I hope I inspire you to maybe try a new look, to go thrifting in search of "gold" or to plan a trip (even if it is only on your mind :p).

Hey! Today I want to share 5 lovely post I found recently. I have not been paying proper attention to my reading list and I want to change that and be more constant on my blog reading :3

¿Siguen Hello Giggles? Me gusta mucho y a veces me hace reír mucho, lástima que está solamente en inglés :(

3. Good selection of blogs by our good friend Rous from Llueve Diamantina, she shares creative blog recommendations in her  "El directorio bloguero". They are mostly in spanish though!

Una amiga y buena blogger es Rous del blog Llueve Diamantina y tiene algo genial llamado "El directorio bloguero" , que es exactamente eso, un directorio de blogs en el que muestra fotos y te cuenta que hay en los blogs, ella sabe mucho de bordado y manualidades, entonces eso aparece mucho en sus posts, pero también recomienda blogs que tienen arte, fotografía y sobre todo buenos blogs en español que si no llevas mucho tiempo leyendo blogs, son difíciles de encontrar. Juro que no lo recomiendo porque nos haya incluido a nosotras en su directorio jaja, aunque definitivamente nos sentimos afortunadas de aparecer ahí ;3

4. As a major beauty blog/vlog fan, and with my permanent liking for j. crew and disheveled hairstyles I was bound to love this post about 'the secrets of the J.Crew undone bun' from Into the Gloss.   

Como fan de los peinados despeinados, los blogs y vlogs de belleza, y de j. crew estaba predestinada a amar este post sobre los chongos despeinados de j.crew y como hacerlos, via Into the Gloss. 

5. Wolf eyebrows is one of my favorite blogs, and I recommend this really clean and simple post about tiny terrariums made by the 10¹² TERRA duo.

Una puntada a la semana

 

A little while ago, I realized that I wasn't crocheting or knitting as much I used to. And when I did, it was only for work, and the same things I´ve done a million times. So I thought that it would be good to challenge myself to learn new stuff.
Every week I will learn a new stitch or make something that I´ve never done before. And of course I´ll post about it. One stitch a week(;

Hace poco, me di cuenta de que ya no tejía tanto como antes, y si lo hacia eran sólo cosas de trabajo y las mismas cosas que ya he hecho una y mil veces. Así pensé que tal vez sería bueno retarme un poco, aprender cosas nuevas. Cada semana aprenderé una puntada nueva o tejeré algo que nunca he hecho antes y por supuesto lo pondré aquí. Una puntada a la semana(;

This week's stitch is called broomstick lace. And yes, you use a broomstick to make it(;  I used it to make a neckwarmer but i guess it can be use for many other projects aswell.

La puntada de la semana se llama Puntada de palo de escoba. Y si, se usa un palo de escoba para hacerla. Yo hice una cuellera, pero me imagino que se puede utilizar para un montón de cosas más. 

If you like the stitch and you are crocheters (is this the right term? :p )there are many tutorials that you can find to make the broomstick lace stitch. It is not a stitch that I would recommend for beginners but if you have a little experience it should be a piece of cake.

Si les gusta y son tejedoras, hay muchos tutoriales que pueden encontrar para hacerla. No es una puntada que yo recomendaria para empezar a tejer si no se ha tejido nunca, pero si ya has tejido la verdad que es muy fácil.

 Today I want to share a little bit about my work, I've done it in the past with my first craft show experience. But now, many craft shows later, I think It's time to share what I´ve been doing lately.

Hoy les quiero enseñar un poco de lo que hago (mi trabajo). Ya lo he hecho en el pasado cuando les compartí mi primera experiencia en un bazar. Pero ahora, muchos bazares más tarde, creo que es tiempo de enseñar lo que he estado haciendo últimamente. 

I wanted to show you this cowl since december, but I never did for one reason or another. Now that the weather is warm, here it is :p

Había querido enseñarles esta cuellera desde diciembre, pero por una razón u otra nunca lo hice. Ahora que hace un calor infernal, aqui está :p
