Okonomiyaki
The word literally means okonomi: what you like, yaki: grill, so something like whatever you like grilled.
My wonderful Japanese teacher taught me how to make this and prepared it so I could take the photos for this post.
If you have never tried Okonomiyaki, you really don't know what you're missing, it is very versatile and absolutely delicious. In Japan it's a very communal type of food, you mix the ingredients and grill it on a tabletop griddle.
La palabra significa literalmente okonomi: lo que te guste, yaki: asar, así que vendría siendo algo como lo que te guste asado. Mi maravillosa maestra de japonés me enseño como prepararlo y me ayudo a tomar las fotos para éste post.
Si nunca has probado el Okonomiyaki, no sabes de lo que te pierdes, es super versatil y delicioso. En Japón es una comida que suele comerse en compañía, y suelen ponerte los ingredientes y tú los mezclas y los calientas en una parrilla que tienes en tu mesa.
