For people who know me this may come as no surprise (or you don't know me very well!) : I love colorful hair and I love fashion, so things that have been popping up in magazines regarding hair and makeup have been just my taste:

Para la gente que me conoce  no debe de ser ninguna sopresa (¡o no me conocen muy bien!) que me gusta mucho el pelo de colores y las cosas que tienen qe ver con moda, así que las coas que he visto últimamente pelo y maquillaje van super de acuerdo con mis gustos:

And then there's the Rooney Mara issue. Just like everyone else, I share the fear of things I love turning too mainstream, but that's just childish, and a completely mainstream feeling! Haha, and to be honest I love the Rooney Mara - Lisbeth Salander look so much, that I think it's great if everybody wants to try it.
Y luego está el tema de Rooney Mara. Como todo mundo, comparto el miedo colectivo a que las cosas que me gustan mucho se vuelvan "mainstream" o populares, pero la verdad es que ese es un sentimiento infantil, y popular jaja. Me gusta tanto el look Rooney Mara - Lisbeth Salander, que me parece perfecto si todo mundo empieza a intentarlo.

I read the three Millennium books, and even though I like Noomi Rapace, I find Rooney the better fit for Lisbeth's role, (I've had dozens of conversations with people who totally disagree with me!), I think she looks small and fragile like a doll (which is exactly what was emphasized in the books, she was supposed to look 14!), but she looks tough as well, and my best friend studies Swedish and says she nailed the accent :)
Lei los tres libros de Milenium y aunque me cae muy bien Noomi Rapace, Rooney Mara me parece ideal para el papel de Lisbeth (he tenido muchas conversaciones con gente que está en completo desacuerdo conmigo). Siento que se ve pequeña y fragil como una muñeca (que es exactamente como la describen en el libro, ¡se supone que parece de 14!), pero se ve ruda a la vez, y mi mejor amigo que estudia sueco dice que hace muy bien el acento ;)

So yeah, I'm a fan, and her look in the movie is awesome, it was created by the wonderful makeup artist Pat McGrath, who recreated similar versions of it for some of the fall fashion week shows:

This is a look she did for the September Teen Vogue editorial 'Tough Love' (photographed by Jason Kibbler), in which she talks about the fall looks and how the Lisbeth look inspired most of them.

And finally, speaking about makeup, I'd like to share this video I love, with you. If you are not a fan of makeup this probably will be terribly boring, but I find it super interesting and very inspiring! I am a big fan of makeup artist Lisa Eldrige and I follow her youtube channel religiously.

In this video she is creating a few looks with key elements of fall makeup trends. 

Y finalmente, hablando de maquillaje, les quiero compartir este video que me encanta. Si no te interesa el maquillaje probablemente te aburra terriblemente, pero a mi me inspira y se me hace super ineresante! Soy fan de Lisa Eldrige y la admiro mucho, sigo religiosamente su canal de youtube.

I read a lot of magazines and watch a lot of fashion and photography stuff, I sometimes think it would be interesting to make a little top of my favorite ones each month and share it here in Ponycat with links to the complete story. I don't know if you guys would like that or find it interesting, I know a lot of people don't read magazines, but maybe most of you do, or maybe you don't care about them at all! If you'd like me to do it (or not) let me know :)

I tried to do a little bit of that, on this post, not focusing only on videos or magazines but mostly on trends I love.  

 Leo muchas revistas y veo muchas cosas que tienen que ver con moda y fotografía, a veces creo que podría ser interesante hacer un top de lo mejor que encuentro en el mes y compartirlo aquí en Ponycat con links a las historias completas. No sé si les gustaría, sé que mucha gente no lee revistas, pero tal vez la mayoría sí lo hace o no les interesa para nada :p 

Si les gustaría que lo hiciera (o no) haganmelo saber :)

Intenté hacer un poco de eso en este post, no sólo sobre videos y revistas pero sobre cosas que me gustaron de la temporada.
